The Hook Up Tackle is committed to exceeding all of our customer’s expectations through our wide selection of products and our great customer service. Below are some frequently asked questions as well as some of our policies. All rod orders with additional items, shipping UPS or FEDEX air, may incur an increased shipping charge. The shipping charge shown when the order is submitted will be subject to change. If your order needs to be shipped in two separate boxes you will be notified via e-mail. The shipping charge reflected on your order confirmation e-mail will be the correct shipping cost.

What can I order?
You may order all items shown on our online catalogue. If you are interested in an item that is not found on our website please email info@thehookuptackle.com and we can look into it for you.

How can I order?
You may order via our secure online ordering system or you may send your order request via email or call us at 888-899-4665. Our Customer Service Department is open daily from 7am to 6pm. If you would like to place a phone order please call our toll free line 1-888-899-4665 or local telephone number 623-412-3474.

How can I pay?
You may pay with a Master card, Visa card, Discover card or American Express. You can also pre-pay your order with cash or check. Please note that The Hook Up Tackle may require additional information from you before we can process your order.

How long will it take to receive my order?

UPS Next Day Air : Delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., or end of day depending on destination, next business day.

UPS 2nd Day Air : Afternoon delivery, second business day.

UPS Ground: 1-5 business days for all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

***Deliveries within Arizona are guaranteed next day

What happens if I don’t receive my package?
All of our shipments are covered by insurance that guarantees that The Hook Up Tackle will replace packages that are lost or damaged during transit.

*Note - The Hook Up Tackle will not be responsible for lost or stolen shipments to a non-current address. If we are not notified of an address change, before the shipment of your order, refunds or replacements for a lost or stolen package will not be accepted.

What if something doesn’t fit or I change my mind?
You are welcome to return or exchange any items purchased from The Hook Up Tackle. The products must be returned in the same condition they were received in. Clothing and Waders must be unworn and in the original packaging. Shoes and Boots must be unworn and in the original box. The Hook Up Tackle will refund the product cost only. All shipping fees and taxes incurred will be your responsibility.

Are back order arrival dates guaranteed?
Back order arrival dates are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change and are not guaranteed.

How do we ship back ordered items?
All back ordered items are shipped free of charge. The method of shipping will depend on the best option available for the item(s) being shipped. Back ordered items will ship either First Class Mail or UPS Ground. If you would like your back ordered items to be sent out using a specific shipping method you will need to contact us at 1-888-899-4665 or info@thehookupoutfitters.com. You will be charged for the cost of shipping your back ordered items if any other method is chosen. Typically, back ordered items, if not sent out the same day, will go out the following day. Travel time will depend on your location within the continental US. Please be advised, unless otherwise notified all back ordered items will be sent via First Class Mail or UPS Ground.

Will I have to pay any taxes or import duties?
There are no U.S. taxes for international customers; however, you will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Because each country is different, and these fees change often, we do not know these fees. Your local post/customs office can give you this information. Arizona residents are subject to the state sales tax.

Defective Product - The Hook Up Tackle wants you to be completely satisfied with every product you purchase from us. Any product that you believe to be defective either from the manufacturer or The Hook Up Outfitters should be returned immediately. All products should be shipped back to The Hook Up Tackle where our quality control department will examine it and do the following: Consider it defective through The Hook Up Tackle standards, and immediately ship your replacement or refund your money.

Returns and Exchanges - The Hook Up Tackle always wants you to get what you want, but in the event that you would like to exchange or return an item, please print off our online return form, and follow the directions on the form. The Hook Up Tackle accepts returns and exchanges for up to 30 days from the original ship date. If you have a question that our return form does not address please call and speak with a customer service representative who will give you return information specific to the product you are returning.

Shipping Procedures:
Free UPS Ground shipping on orders over $50.00

All Ground orders placed before 3:30PM Arizona Time will be picked, packed, and shipped that same day. All Air orders placed by 3:30 PM Arizona Time will be shipped the same day. All orders over $50 receive FREE ground shipping. All other ground deliveries are only $6.75 within the Contiguous US. We will always work to keep shipping costs as low as possible so you can get more of the gear you want!

General Travel Time Breakdown
(With the exception of Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery weekend days are not included in the travel time of a package, all UPS shipments offer tracking)

Please see the map above for approximate travel times. 

UPS 2nd Day Air
As long as your order is placed before 3:30pm Arizona Time Mon.-Fri. your order will ship the same day. If you place a UPS 2nd Day Air on Monday you should expect to receive it on Wednesday (no particular arrival time is allotted for these shipments).  If you place a UPS 2nd Day Air on Thursday you will receive the order, guaranteed, that following Monday (weekend days not included in travel time).

UPS Next Day Air
All orders placed UPS Next Day Air will be delivered the next day (with the exception of Saturday) with no specific arrival time. If a Next Day Air is submitted on Friday it will be delivered, guaranteed, Monday after the weekend. If you need an order delivered on Saturday, you will need to let us know, and that option can be added to your shipping for an additional fee. This option is slightly more expensive but is guaranteed Saturday delivery (in most areas, see below paragraph for exceptions to certain rural areas). If you need a package delivered before 10:00am on a weekday (in most areas, see below paragraph for exceptions to certain rural areas), you will need to choose the UPS Next Day Air Early A.M. option, which is available by calling us to insure the correct option.

Priority Mail
Typical travel time is 4-10 working days regardless of destination. This shipping option is not insured and does not offer a tracking service.

Note: All Ground and Priority Mail shipment times are approximate and are subject to change.

Please be advised when choosing UPS Air as a shipping option, depending on your location, UPS may require a signature in order to leave it at a residence. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign for the package, UPS will not leave it. We would strongly suggest that if you choose UPS Air shipping as an option someone be home to sign for the package or have it shipped to a business where someone is available to sign for it. The Hook Up Tackle will not be held responsible for reimbursing UPS Air shipping charges if there is no one available for a signature releases.

***Note: Transit days for ground shipments are business days and do not include weekends or holidays. Transit days are approximate and not guaranteed on ground shipments.

Hawaii/Alaska/Puerto Rico: The Hook Up Tackle is able to ship to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico via Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Please call 1-888-899-4665 or email: info@thehookuptackle.com for an exact shipping quote if choosing an option other than UPS Ground.

FPO/APO mailing addresses: The Hook Up Tackle is able to ship to military mailing addresses via Priority Mail only.
